Data from the World Trade Organization’s Statistical Trade Review 2023 highlights the world’s biggest exporters of “automotive products” (see footnotes).
China has grown it’s share of global automotive exports the most since 2000, with other emerging markets like Mexico and South Korea following. Also noteworthy is the emergence of Thailand and Türkiye, both of which have grown from a sub 1% share in 2000.
