The Pew Research Center surveyed more than 5,000 American adults between March 27th–April 2, 2023.
The survey was weighted to be representative of the U.S. adult population by gender, race, ethnicity, partisan affiliation, education and other categories. Visit their methodology page (linked in the source section) for an in-depth explanation.
Six in ten Americans surveyed feel that both corporations and the wealthy don’t pay their fair share in federal taxes.
Half of those surveyed are also very frustrated with how complex the system is.
Pew Research noted that their findings were essentially unchanged since 2021.
